Service & Deliveries

Our service provides tailored catering for your event in the Wellington region. We can also provide staff to prepare and serve your guests at your venue and all the equipment you need to make your function a success. Our staff are trained in all aspects of hygiene and food preparation, and our kitchen has the Wellington City Council's 'Excellence' Standard for food hygiene. We Have our bright red Red Herring branded delivery vans all over Wellington, especially the CBD.

Terms of Trade

- Notification of final numbers are required within 72 hours for functions over 30 pax.

- Notification of final numbers are required within 48 hours for functions under 30 pax.

- Minimum order value of $85.00 excl GST

- Minimum order of the weekend is $585.00 excl GST

- Any orders under $400 excl GST will incur a delivery fee of $10

- Orders delivered hot will incur a delivery fee of $15.00

Payment Terms

- Regular customer accounts must be paid within 7 days unless prior arrangement has been made

- For functions over $1000 payment is required within 3 days

- Cash on delivery is required for private functions

- A late payment penalty of 10% can be imposed

- All breakages, losses or damages will be invoiced to the client

Loyalty Discounts

We are more than happy to tender to become your sole caterer, this will give you a discount prearranged with the client. Please note we are unable to offer discounts on any specials and our Christmas menus

Cancellation Policy

- Cancellations made within 24 hours must be paid for in full

- For functions over 30 persons, 72 hours notice of cancellation is necessary; otherwise 33% payment will be required

- For functions over 50 persons, 1 weeks notice of cancellation is necessary; otherwise a 33% payment will be required

- For functions over 100 persons, 21 days notice of cancellation is necessary; otherwise 33% payment will be required

- Any functions over $3,000 require a $1,000 deposit which is non refundable.

- Any functions over $10,000 requires $2,000 deposit which is non refundable

- Cancellation of functions over the christmas period will be required to be paid in full.
